Description
I work in a store, am female, 39 years old and right-handed. Some time ago, I was told by my boss that he had received a complaint about me and that he was forwarding it to me by e-mail for me to read through. I could remember this “incident”. They were no strangers, and my boss was also familiar with their nature. I reacted reservedly to them, and then came the complaint, in which everything was very dramatized and some things were written that were not true.
So I went to talk to my boss to explain my side of things. He was quite neutral, but I expected a little more loyalty, especially in relation to these ladies. I felt offended, treated unfairly, my self-esteem was tarnished and I was simply angry with these customers. It preoccupied me intensely for a few days, after which it slowly faded into oblivion.
Weeks later, I spoke to my sister about it, who was upset about these customers in solidarity with me! One day later I had pain in my cervical spine on the right side. The pain increased so much over the course of the week that I sometimes needed a painkiller, otherwise just DMSO and physical exercises. The pain then radiated into my right arm, up to the front of my hand, and was also sensitive to touch for a few days.
It gradually improved and after three weeks everything was as before. Since I knew why I had this pain, I kept reminding myself that I was in the healing phase.
I think GNM is just great!
Best regards from Verena
Note by Björn Eybl:
Thank you very much Verena for the nice experience report.
It shows very nicely that “falling into oblivion” does not always mean a solution.
Solution means: consciously looking again, feeling into it and doing something about it (e.g. talking, praying, forgiving).
Note by Ingmar Marquardt:
The conflict content of the tissues of the cervical spine is the so-called “intellectual self-esteem collapse”, i.e. “I'm not smart enough for ...”. In this case, the situation of not being able to communicate her point of view to the boss could have been the triggering situation. Or it could also have been the failure to find an intellectual solution because of the accusing ladies.
